Hello,
My name is Eric Rapp. I am the owner of CertaPro Painters of Greater Media. I want to take a moment to give you some more information about myself. I have been married to Renee for over 25 years. Renee and I just became empty nesters. My son, Josh, is playing football at Valley Forge Military College and my daughter, Danielle, has a family of her own. I spent eight years as a painting contractor primarily in Delaware County. In 1992, the family was in a car accident with a drunk driver. I required extensive back surgery and was told that I could not continue to paint on a full time bases. By a series of unique events, I changed careers and became a project manager and business analyst in the information technology arena. After many years of the IT world, I decided to start my own business. I was presented with the opportunity to become a CertaPro Painters franchise owner. This seemed like an excellent fit. It combined all of my past experiences (painting, project management and technology).
When not providing painting services for my customers, I enjoy spending time with my family, music, reading and travel. I have been a musician/singer/songwriter since I was 14 years old and am still in a band. I recently finished a CD of original songs that is being promoted by a publishing company. I have travelled to places such as Africa, Albania, Kosovo, South America as well as most of the United States playing music and helping churches. Well enough about me.
